winter is here








here are some photos i took when i was home about two weeks ago. back then it had snowed just a little bit, now the world is covered by a thick blanket of snow.

these days i'm busy buying christmas presents and planning our christmas dinner. it has become some sort of tradition that my sister and me cook a three-course-menu for our family on christmas eve. i think, i already have an idea for our feast...

 the last colours of the year








last weekend i was at home and it was wonderful! i met and spoke to so many people, i hadn't seen for such a long time. i drank mulled wine at the christkindlesmarkt in nuremberg, went to the snow-covered woods to collect firewood for our fireplace and finally got to see the baby of one of my best friends. he's just 2 weeks old and everything about him is just so tiny and adorable. welcome on earth, little jakob!
